Full-Stack E-commerce Developer: Custom Multi-Vendor CMS (PHP/Laravel) & High-Performance Flutter App Project Overview Our Goal: A faster, more scalable multi-vendor marketplace platform. We are currently operating a multi-vendor e-commerce platform using Active E-commerce CMS and its Flutter app. While the feature set is solid, the current solution is proving to be heavy, slow, and lacks the performance and scalability we require for a growing user base. We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer or Development Team to build a custom, lightweight, and high-performance replacement solution that maintains the core functionality of a multi-vendor marketplace but is significantly faster and more robust. The project requires development of two core components that communicate seamlessly: Custom Back-end CMS & API (Preference for PHP/Laravel for ease of management and deployment). Cross-Platform Mobile Application (Must be built with Flutter for iOS & Android). 3. Scope of Work & Deliverables The final deliverable is a complete, market-ready, and high-performance multi-vendor e-commerce platform with all three user panels (Admin, Seller, Customer). A. Custom E-commerce CMS & Admin Panel (Back-end) Performance Optimization: The primary goal is a lightweight script with optimized database queries and efficient caching mechanisms for rapid response times. Multi-Vendor System: Vendor registration, approval process, and separate vendor dashboard. Vendor product management, inventory, and order fulfillment. Commission and payout management system. Core E-commerce Features: Product management (variants, inventory, digital/physical products). Dynamic homepage and content management. Order management (tracking, status updates, order history). Multiple payment gateway integration (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, and a few local options). Shipping and tax configuration. B. High-Performance Mobile Application (Flutter) Customer App (iOS & Android): Smooth, fast, and responsive user interface (minimal loading times). User authentication (social login, standard email/password). Advanced product search, filtering, and sorting. Shopping cart, wishlist, and seamless checkout process. Product reviews and ratings with image/video upload support. Real-time notifications (Push Notifications). Seller App (Optional/Phase 2 - Please specify in proposal): Simplified dashboard to track sales, orders, and earnings. Ability to update inventory and change order status. 4. Required Expertise & Technology Stack We are looking for a developer or team with a proven track record in building large-scale, high-performance e-commerce platforms. Mandatory Skills: Custom CMS/Back-end: Strong expertise in PHP/Laravel development. Mobile App: Expert-level proficiency in Flutter for cross-platform mobile development. Performance & Database: Deep understanding of database optimization (e.g., MySQL/PostgreSQL) and API development (RESTful APIs) for high speed and low latency. Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab workflow experience. Preferred/Bonus Skills: Experience in optimizing existing large-scale e-commerce systems. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Google Cloud/Digital Ocean) for deployment. Experience with advanced state management in Flutter (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc). 5.
